Titans win barn burner over Huskies, 7-6

The Temiscaming Titans picked up four of a six potential points over the weekend as they had three road games in less than 72 hours. A 6-1 loss Friday to the Shield followed by a 4-2nwin over the Lynx and Sunday afternoon they capped off the weekend with a narrow 7-6 victory over the Seguin Huskies. During Sunday’s game the Titans held two goal leads twice only to see the Huskies capitalize on power plays and send the teams tied at four going into the final period. And again in the period the Titans saw their one goal lead disappear but two late goals gave the Titans the slim victory. Ryder Murray had 2 goals and 1 assists, Nico Wilton had 1 goal and 2 assists, Matej Klust had 1 goal and 1 assist. Other goals were by Logan Baldwin, Jakob Wilhelmsson and Philemon Gentes. Anthony Bedard had 3 assists while Guillaume Taupier had a couple helpers. Peter Bastuga collected the victory in goal. The Titans have another big weekend ahead as they will be on the road for 3 games over a 4 day period. First up will be the New Tecumseth Civics(23-2) on Dec 1 followed by the Almaguin Spartans(13-5-2) on dec 2 then a Sunday night game on dec 4 at the Bradford Rattlers(17-7). The Titans record now stands at 13 wins and 10 losses.
