Read MoreThe Temiscaming Titans were playing their second game of the young season and it was no easy task as the Bradford Rattlers were at the Centre for a 8pm game. The Titans scored the opening goal on a breakaway by Rylan Freed, who was playing his first game as a Titans since his arrival from Saskatchewan last week. Gustav Rollfelt made it 2-0 on his goal, but the Rattlers bounced back with their first only 25 seconds after. The Titans increased their lead to 3-1 with 1:36 to play in the first period as Alex Provost-Ross notched a goal. The teams exchanged single goals in the middle period with Simon Brannvall scoring on a power play. Leading 4-2 in the final period, the Titans allowed a shorthanded goal that brought the Ratllers within 1 goal. With the Rattlers goaltender pulled for an extra attacker, Harald Sundell buried a long shot from inside his on blue line that found the back of the empty net, final score 5-3 Titans. 61-31 were the shots in favor of the Titans. 3 stars were Rylan Freed, Rattlers goaltender and Titans netminder Emile Goulet.
Next week the Titans host a couple home games starting on Thursday with a rematch with the Ville-Marie Pirates then on Friday evening the West Nipissing Lynx are coming to town.
