Titans fall to Civics in afternoon game

Playing their second game against the league leaders less than 16 hours following their upset win over the Islanders on Friday evening, the Titans came out of the gate flying and brought a 4-1 lead into the dressing room after 20 minutes. Two goals each from Guillaume Taupier and Anthony Bedard had the Titans leading by three. But the penalty bug bit the Titans in the middle period and the Civics capitalized scoring twice during a major penalty to reduce the lead to 4-3 heading into the final frame. The Civics continued to dominate in the third scoring twice to hand the Titans a 6-4 loss. Raffaele Izzo was bombarded with 56 shots and was selected the games second star. Ryder Murray collected 2 more assists to increase his career league leading total to 215. Some extra curricular activities at the end of the game put a damper on the outcome with several Titans players leaving the bench. It is most certain that suspensions are pending. Need to wait and see. Titans next game is against the Bradford Bulls in Bradford on Wednesday October 19th.
