Nick Proulx goes back home
On Tuesday, the Titans and West Nipissing Lynx concluded a trade that involved the Lynx getting the rights of ’96 born defenseman Nick Proulx. In return the Titans receive the rights to 2 players. Callander native forward Robert Ranger(‘98) 6’2” 190 lbs. He played last season in NOJHL for the French River Rapids and had 2 goals and 3 assists in 46 games. In 2015-16 he played in the GNML for North Bay Trappers with 9 goals and 15 assists in 32 games. Also the Titans picked up the playing rights to ’96 born 5’10” 195 lbs D-man Johan Gustavsson from, Jönköping, Sweden. Johan played in Division 1 & 2 in J20, 33 games with 1 goal and 6 assists. In 2015-16, he was part of the New Hampshire Monarchs in the EHL elite league. He had 2 goals and 13 helpers in 25 games. The Titans also gave away a 6th round draft pick in the 2018 draft.
Proulx will be able to finish off his junior career at home in front of family and friends. Good luck Nick and welcome David & Johan.
