Titans drop game 1 in shootout, 4-3

The Titans were on the road in Tottenham tonight for game #1 of the semi-final of the North division against the New Tecumseth Civics. The series got off to a good start as the teams battled for 65 minutes and needed a shootout to decide the winner. Only one goal was scored but it was the Civics that got it. The Titans fought back from a two goal deficit in the third period to send the game into an extra session. Ryder Murray had two goals for the Titans and Hugo Noller had the other. The Titans outshot the Civics 48-46. Both goaltenders were outstanding making key saves at various times during the game and overtime. A slow first period was the difference. The Titans came out a little on edge but turned things around in the second and third periods. Back at the Center for game 2 on Wednesday night. Let’s show them what a loud home crowd can do for our team.
