Titans sink the Islanders 11-6.
A thursday night matchup against the Parry Sound Islanders was a tight back and forth affair until the Titans blew the game open in the third period scoring five goals to get the 11-6 win. Deverick Ottereyes led the goal parade with three goals and 2 helpers. Oleg Khalemin chipped in with 2 goals and 2 assists while Michael Chuinard had a pair of markers. Kurtis Klinger had 2 goals and one assists, Ryder Murray had 1 goal and one assist and with those two points has hit the 100 point plateau for the season. He also surpassed Andre Leclair’s record of 66 assists in a season. Dayton Murray had the other goal. Scott Marshall had 3 helpers while Nicolas Jasmin had two. Tomas Mastalirsky got the win. Shots were 46-30 Titans, 3 stars Chuinard, Ottereyes and Khalemin. TItans are back in action Friday at the Centre against the Bracebridge Blues.
