Titans return to France for Dman

The Temiscaming Titans are extremely pleased to announce the signing of a second player from France. Defenceman Thomas Léonard, who is also from the same home town, Epinal and team as Julien Vogt that the Titans signed on Wednesday. Léonard, ’98 born played this past season along side Vogt for Gamyo. He had 1 goal and 3 assists playing in 14 games. Nicolas Tourigny, Titans GM says that that Thomas will bring some size and speed to our blue line. At 6’3’’ and 185lbs, he will add mobility and toughness in our defensive zone. Asked on what he would add to the Titans lineup Léonard says ’’I’m a very mobile defenceman that is comfortable in defending our zone and will not hesitate to jump into a rush into the opposing zone. Thomas adds” Julien and I have been playing together for many years and we decided on the Titans mainly because of the success that the Titans have had over the years and that the team is a very good organization that cares about their players.” In closing he says that ”we’re are both very excited on becoming part of the Titans and can hardly wait until we arrive in August”. Thomas will be wearing jersey #27.
