The Titans came out of the gate flying and dominated the first period outshooting the Rattlers and leading 1-0 on Ryder Murray’s goal. The Rattlers tied the score at 1:07 of the second, then took a 2-1 lead following a power play goal at 9:46. But a Bradford major penalty ended up costing them as Nico Wilton and Gustav Rollfelt scored only 28 seconds apart and the Titans regained a one goal lead, 3-2. A late second period goal by Jakob Wilhelmsson sent the teams to their dressing rooms with the home team holding onto a 4-1 lead. Midway through the final frame, the Rattlers reduced to lead to 4-3 but the Titans Wilhelmsson scored his second and then shortly after Nicolas Proulx made it 6-3 and that’s the way the game would end. Shots on goal were in the Titans favor, 61-32. Raffaele Izzo collected the win. The 3 stars of the game were Jakob Wilhelmsson, Matej Klust and Stepan Timofeyev from Bradford.
