Titans make 2nd big trade in 24 hours

Titans make a second trade in less than 24 hours

The Titans have sent Guillaume Taupier to the New Tecumseth Civic. In return the Titans receive the playing rights to 21 year old defenseman Cameron Lintner. Lintner was the Civics 1st round pick, 3rd overall in the 2017 draft. At 6’5’’ and 205lbs Lintner played the last 4 seasons in the OJHL with the Stouffville Spirit and was their captain in his last season. Taupier, also 21 yrs old was in his third and final season with the Titans and was the acting captain and is now serving a league imposed 4 game suspension.
The question that remains unanswered right now is if Lintner will get to wear the Titans blue. The answer will be known by Monday January 15th at midnight(Trade deadline for the GMHL)
The Titans wish Guillaume the best of luck with his new team.
With four days left until the deadline, the Titans are active in the search for perhaps one or more players. So when the Titans hit the ice for their first post trade practice, there will be a lot interest to see who else will be joining the squad.
