Titans lose 5-3 to Shield in Port Carling

The Titans(1-1-1) were on the bus on Friday for their first road trip to take on the South Muskoka Shield (0-3). Goals for the Titans came from Alex Provost-Ross, Joakim Braneby and Dayton Murray were not enough as the Shield scored 5 including the last one in an open net. A major penalty late in the second period enabled the Shield to score two goals. The Titans could not recover to tie the game late in the period.  Shots on goal were in favor of the Shield 47-43.  Nicolas Vandal collected 2 assists while Tim Cachard suffered the loss. Next for the Titans is another road trip on Wednesday October 3rd to face the Bradford Bulls.  Followed by a Thursday nighter at the Centre versus the Ville Marie Pirates, game time will be 8:30pm
