Titans free agent signing alert
With less than 24 hours until the GMHL trade deadline, the Temiscaming Titans would like to annonce the signing of an young offensive forward. Following the recent additions of Nick Proulx and Dayton Murray to fill the need on the blue line, the Titans now welcome to the team 18 year old Kyle Challis, who was a teamate of Dayton Murray last season with the NOJHL champion Powassan Voodoos.
Challis had 29 points in 46 games with the Voodoos (11g-18a). In 2015-16, he was named GMHL Rookie of the year while he wore the colours of the Bracebridge Blues. The 6’1″ and 180lb winger had 73 points playing in 38 games with the Blues at the age of 16.
Kyle’s addition to the squad will add some more scoring punch in the last run into the playoffs and coulld be a ficture wearing the blue for years to come.
Kyle will arrive to the Titans on Tuesday in preparation for our upcoming game on Thursday in Meaford.
