Titans even series with win in South River

The Titans were in South River on Friday night for game 2 of the semi final series against the Spartans.  Trailing the series 1-0, the Titans needed a quick start and that’s what they got.  An early first period goal by Ryder Murray and another from Deverick Ottereyes gave the Titans a 2-0 first period lead.  In the second Ottereyes got his second of the game and the Titans went into the final period with a 3-0 lead.  The Spartans replied with a power play marker to make it 3-1 but that’s as close as they would get.  Dayton Murray would add a third period goal and Ottereyes sealed the win with an empty netter with the Spartans adding an extra attacker.  Ryder Murray added 3 assists and Guillaume Taupier had 2 helpers.  Andreas Morger made some stellar saves all night long and got the win.  Shots were 38-32 Titans.  Game 3 is set for Saturday night at 8pm at the Centre.
