Titans edge Huskies in Seguin

It’s only the fourth game of the season but Sunday afternoon in Seguin, the Titans were facing their toughest challenge to date in the Seguin Huskies. Already with a short bench, the Titans were without the services of Sakari Starkkila, who sat the game with an injury he sustained Friday night.  The Titans struck first with two first period goals.  A power play marker by Ryder Murray and that was followed by a Scott Sovinsky short-handed goal.  In the second the Titans got into some penalty problems and Seguin capitalized with a couple goals to send the game into the final period tied at 2 goals apiece.  A late penalty to the Huskies allowed the Titans to regain the lead on the power play with a Jason Berube goal.  The Huskies got a chance with less than 2 minutes to go as the Titans got a penalty and pulled their goalie for a 6 on 4.  The Titans held on for the 3-2 win, it was Tomas Mastalirsky’s second win of the season.
