Titans edge Civics 7-6 in Alliston

The Titans won their 11 straight game this evening but they had to work for it. Leading 4-3 after the first and 6-5 after the second period. Each team scored once in the final period. The line of Taupier, Brannvall and Freed made all the scoring with Taupier getting 3 goals, Brannvall had 2 goals and 2 assists while Rylan Freed was the main man with 2 goals and 5 assists for a 7 point night. Davide Asselin had 2 helpers. Raphael Izzo was the winner. Titans outshot the Civics 47-33, the 3 stars were Freed, Brannvall and Taupier. With the win the Titans now sit atop the Northern division with 30 points with a record of 15 wins and 4 losses.

The team is staying over in Barrie tonight and will have a very short bus ride on Friday up highway 11 to Gravenhurst to take on the South Muskoka Shield. Then finish off another 3 games in 4 days weekend with a Sunday matinee at the Centre versus the West Nipissing Lynx.
