Titans acquire Josh McVeigh via trade route
June 10, 2022
Titans and the St. George Ravens completed today a 2nd trade in 1 month.
This time your Titans acquire the rights on (2001) defenseman Josh McVEIGH 6’0” 188 and in return give up a 2023 4th round pick and future considerations.
Josh is what we call a “2 way” defenseman who is responsible defensively but able to generate offensively.
Smooth skater, hard sho and not afraid of physical games.
Even better, after making the Russell Cup Final at age 17, he won the Cup (Playoffs Championship) with the Cold Lake Junior team in the Can-Am league last season.
The 2022-23 season will thus be its 3rd participation in 4 years in a 🏆 Final while Titans are guaranteed to take part in the Canadian Championship next April right here in Témiscaming.
The addition of Josh McVEIGH gives us a mobile, physically solid and experienced D Corp..
Very excited to get a confirmation of that trade, Josh immediately agreed to report to Titans and will therefore play his last Junior season here in Temiscaming.
Welcome to the Titans Josh.😊
