Shield end Titans hopes on 1st place

TItans lose close one to Shield 4-3
The Titans had an opportunity to leap frog the Shield and grab first place in the North division but the Shield had different plans for the game. WIth the win at the Centre, the Shield have earned first place and home ice advantage through the first three rounds of the playoffs. The Titans now have to worry about the Spartans who they will meet Saturday afternoon at the Centre. The Spartans are now tied with the Titans in second spot with 68 points each. Ryder Murray, Guillaume Taupier and Michael Chuinard had the goals. Taupier added an assist and was the game’s second start. Tomas Mastalirsky suffered the loss facing 20 shots. The Titans had 37 shots on the Shield netminder.
