Perfect weekend for Titans !

The Titans were finishing their three games in three days Sunday afternoon in Seguin with a 2pm start time. And no better way to cap off the weekend than with a sweep of the games and that’s exactly what the Titans did as they headed back home with a 9-4 win over the Huskies. Heading into the game on Sunday the Titans had already registered back to back wins over the West Nipissing Lynx of 7-5 and 8-4. With their 6 point weekend, the Titans have moved into fourth place in the northern division. The Titans are now riding a six game winning streak, their longest of the season. No fewer than 8 different Titans lit the goal light in Seguin. Marc-Antoine Arseneau had 2g-1a while Nico Wilton, Adrien Guenette, Guillaume Taupier, Anthony Bedard, Gustav Rolfelt and Nikita Sidenko all had 1g &1a apiece. Sidenko’s goal was his first with the Titans. Scott Sovinsky had 1g. Zacharie Lefebvre had 3 assists while Nicolas Proulx had a couple. Veli Makinen made 29 saves to earn the victory. The Titans never trailed in the game as the score was 3-2 after the first, then 6-2 after 40 minutes. The Titans directed 60 shots at the Huskies goaltender. The Titans next game is only on January 25th on the road against the Bradford Bulls. And the next home game will be Saturday January 28th against the Meaford Knights.
