Titans-Lynx trade: JACOB PAYEUR with your Titans
Titans and the West Nipissing Lynx have completed a trade involving 3 players.
Titans acquire the services of defenseman Jacob Payeur (2005) 6’3 190 in exchange for the rights of defenseman Declan Allison (2006) and forward Philippe Falardeau (2005).
Jacob Payeur is a very talented defenseman, a smooth skater, a physical player. He is a product of the North Bay Trappers AAA.
Jacob was part of this Trappers recent edition winners of the Northern Ontario Championship, that went to the Provincial Championships in Windsor, On.
Although he will officially begin his Junior career next season, Jacob’s talent has already allowed him to play more than 20 JrA games in NOJHL with French River and Powassan.
We are confident of coming to an agreement with him because his wish is to play in the Blue uniform.
You should know that Jacob is the grandson of Ken Collins from Temiscaming. Mr. Collins proudly wore the colors of the Temiscaming Royals in his time.
The torch now passes to Jacob.
Nancy, Jacob’s mother, is also from Témiscaming.
Our new Titans prospect will take part in the team’s tryout camp tonight at 8:00 p.m.
We would like to thank Philippe Falardeau for his season with us. Phil is a good player and an endearing boy. We wish him the best of luck and young prospect Declan Allison, (a young man and family) we’ve come to appreciate.
