Goulet gets shutout over Lynx

Titans have perfect weekend

Following an 8-1 victory over Meaford on home ice on Thursday, the Titans followed with another convincing win, this time in Sturgeon Falls with an 8-0 shutout over the West Nipissing Lynx on Friday night. Titans scoring came from Gustav Rollfelt, Simon Brannvall and Rylan Freed each scoring twice. Hampus Andersson and Jakob Wilhelmsson had the others. The Freed, Taupier & Brannvall line combined for another 7 points. Titans netminder Emile Goulet earned his second win of the season and the Titans first shutout of the season as he stopped all 37 shots he faced. The Titans had 65 shots on the Lynx goaltender. Next up for the Titans is a return trip to South River on Friday the 13th of October for their second meeting with the Spartans.
