Austin Presseault signs with Titans | Titans de témiscaming

The Titans are very pleased to announce that Temiscaming native defenseman Austin Presseault officially becomes a member of the Titans. Austin (2004) 5’10 ’’ 165lbs played for the North Bay Trappers Midget AA last season. In 24 games he had a 1g- 5a-6pts record with 24 min penalties. Here’s what our GM can tell us about this young defenseman: “Austin has several qualities that make him an attractive defenseman. His smooth skating was already Jr level last season. He’s really mobile. He has a set of tools that make him a good young blueliner. Austin is also a young man who enjoys doing whatever he takes on. A young person who takes pride in doing things right. Attitude is very important in choosing our players. We are looking for young people who have a good head and the makings of winners. Austin meets these criteria’s well. We had a good conversation this morning. He understands very well that at 16, in a league that accepts up to 14 players aged 20-21, he will have to be patient with his ice time and work very hard during the practice of the team.  Both coach Seb and myself like him and see him wearing the colors of his town’s Jr. team for several seasons. It will also be a fourth season for Austin under coach Harwood. The fact that Shawn knows him so well will help our rookie a lot in his learning process. We are all happy to see this young player join us. ” Austin Presseault will wear the number 93. Welcome home Austin!
