A much needed 4-2 Titans win over Lynx

A much needed win of 4-2 for the Titans Saturday evening in Sturgeon Falls over the Lynx. Following their flat performance the night before versus the Shield. A much better team effort tonight against a pesky Lynx team that never quit. Matej Klust got things going for the Titans with his first goal with the team, but before the first period ended, the Lynx would tie the score at one. A lone Lynx goal in the middle period had the Titans needing to get the next goal and they did as Jakob Wilhelmsson scored at 1:39 of the third to even the score. The eventual winner was by Gustav Rollfelt and Scott Sovinsky scored the insurance marker with less than 2 minutes in the game. Jason Goes was the game’s first star facing 35 shots. Gauillaume Tauper had 2 helpers and was the 3rd star. The Titans get a short rest as they hit the road to Seguin early Sunday morning for a 2pm game against the Huskies.
