Arai nets winner in O.T. in South River | Titans de témiscaming

Always an interesting game but never an easy one when the Titans and Spartans clash especially at the South River Machar community center. And Sunday afternoon was no different ! The Titans led 1-0 after one and 2-1 after two periods. But a different third period as the teams combined for 6 goals setting the stage for the overtime drama. Fortunetely for the Titans, the drama only lasted 85 seconds as Eisai Arai buried a goal mouth pass from Joakim Braneby to give the victory to the Titans. The Titans are a perfect 3-0 versus the Spartans so far this season. Braneby had 1g and 2a while Eisai Arai had 2g-1a. Other goals came off the sticks of Nikita Sidenko, Axel Hallor and Daniil Shkvyrin. Emile Goulet got the W facing 37 shots.
The Titans now have three big days of practice to prepare for a huge weekend including a Thursday night visit in Ville Marie and on Friday will be facing off at the Centre against the league leading Bradford Rattlers.
