The Titans were in Ville Marie on Saturday night to try to break the string of defeats to the hands of the Pirates. Things didn’t start off on right foot as the Pirates scored the only goal of the period and the Titans lost the services of Michael White and Rylan Freed. Simon Brannvall also needed to go to the dressing room for the trainers to tape up an injury. Brannvall returned and so did Freed in the second but only briefly. The Pirates made it 2-0 before Alex Provost-Ross got the Titans on the board. But that was as close as the Titans would get as the Pirates scored 3 more in the final 20 minutes to make the final 5-1. The Titans still have three more games against their northern rival Pirates. Shots were 48-36 Pirates. Aaron Young took the loss. Next up is a Thursday night road game to take on the Knights of Meaford.
