Titans make change between the pipes

The Temiscaming Titans are pleased to announce the signing of 21 year old netminder Aaron Young.

Last season while playing for the Picton Pirates, he was selected “Goalie of the year” in the Tod division of the PJHL playing in 29 games and posted a GAA of 3.21 and save % of .907. This season the 6’2” 210lbs goalie had a record of 7-4-1 with 2 shutouts, 3.01 GAA, .915 save %.

Aaron was selected by the Titans in this year’s draft. He is an experienced and physically solid goalie that will certainly contribute in the final run before the GMHL playoffs. Aaron describes his style as a strong puck handling quick and agile who plays the popular butterfly style.

The Oshawa native will be in action this weekend as the Titans close out 2017 with games at home against Seguin Friday, on the road to Ville Marie Saturday and Sunday afternoon versus the Spartans. He will be wearing jersey #63.

The Titans would also like to take this opportunity to thank Raffaele Izzo for his contribution to the Titans since his arrival with the team since last year. We would like to wish Raffy the best of luck in his hockey career.
