Titans sign power forward from Iceland

The Temiscaming Titans are extremely pleased to announce the signing of another impact player that should pay immediate dividends to the Titans goal production. Joining the team is ’98 born forward Kristjan Kristinsson from Reykjavik, Iceland. The 6’1”, 175lbs forward brings to the Titans several years of high level competition in Iceland. In the last three years, he has represented his country in 6 different World junior championships in U18 and U20 division 2-2B-3 &3B. In 21 world championship games he scored 6 times and added 8 assists. “In Kristinsson the Titans get a winger with good speed and puck skills who plays hard on the puck as well as the body says Nicolas Tourigny, Titans G.M. Kristinsson says “I like to use my height to my advantage and I possess a good shooting technique”. Why is chose to play for the Titans he adds “the team has had a great record in last years, their facility and fan support looks great. And I believe that I can become a better hockey with them. Kristjan will wear jersey #9 this season.
