Titans lose in OT to Spartans

On Friday evening in front of a crowd over 400 the Almaguin Spartans and Titans played some very good hockey.  With the Spartans coming out on top 2-1 in overtime.  After a scoreless first period, Scott Marshall opened the scoring in the second.  The teams went to their dressing rooms with the Titans leading 1-0.  But late in the third a Spartans power play tied the game and sent both team to an extra five minute session.  With about a minute left an unfortunate giveaway in the Titans zone resulted in a two on none in front of Andreas Morger. The outcome…a Spartans goal.  The Titans outshot the Spartans 40 – 25 the three strars were Ludvig Nilsson (Spartans), Sebastian Carlsson (Spartans) and Scott Marshall.

The TItans now travel to Sturgeon Falls on Saturday evening the play the Lumberjacks.
