Titans have busy evening at GMHL Draft | Titans de témiscaming

On Wednesday May 17th, the GMHL held it’s annual draft. In the past the draft was held in Gilford, Ontario where all the teams GM’s were attending to make their selections in the 12 round draft. But this year, the League adopted a new method that was used during the pandemic, which is an on line draft. To add to the mix, due to complete scheduled power failure in the Temiscaming area so that work could be performed on the main grid of the local pulp mill, we were forced to drive to North Bay to be able to take part. The Titans held a total of 23 picks in the 12 rounds. Needless to say with that many picks the Titans GM Francois Harrisson needed some assistance. Denis “Bubba” Lacourse was putting the picks out on Twitter & Facebook while Ariane Beaudry was entering the Titans picks live on the League site.
