Titans come back from draft with some hardware

The Titans were the stars of the annual GMHL awards banquet coming back to Temiscaming with no less than 6 individual awards.

-Best Defenceman – William Godbout
-Best Forward –  Ilya Badanin
-Most Gentlemanly – Mikhaïl Kornilov
-Top scorer North Division –  David Fontaine
-Executive of the year – Pascal Labranche
-Best broadcaster – Denis « Bubba » Lacourse

What a great way to put a cap on a magic season in which the Titans scored an average of 6.7 goals per game and only allowing a measly 2.5 during the regular season.

During the playoffs maintained that same pace scoring 6.8 goals per game(89 in 13 games) but improved on the goals against with a 1.38 average including 3 shutouts and allowing only 18 goals.

The presentation of the league awards marks the conclusion to the 2021-22 season and the draft kicks off the the 2022-23 season starting in September.

The Titans will be hosting the first ever Canadian Championship in April 2023 and as the hosts are guaranteed to be one of the teams
