A baker’s dozen for the Titans

Titans come back from a 2 goal deficit in the third to score 4 unanswered goals to get the road win, 8-6 in Meaford. This win gives the Titans 13 straight. We had suspicions that the Knights would put up a good show and our doubts were right.
The day following the all star showcase, with a snowy ride back home. An early departure from Témiscaming with less than perfect road conditions to drive to Meaford. In normal conditions a ride that takes 5 hours. The rust showed as this was our first game in a month, the Knights were in the 3rd game. With four new players in the line up, it took a couple periods for them to be cohesive.
We’ll take the two points. Very important in the race for the championship. Yannick Ethier had a big game with 3G-1a. Drew Warkentine scored his first as a Titans. Bobby Cloutier was solid in goal, the score does not reflect the performance.
The Titans retain their 4 point advantage in first place and still hold a game in hand on the Pirates.
