Titans win in S.O. over Lynx.
Saturday night at the Centre, the fans in attendance got their money’s worth as the Lynx and the Titans needed 14 shooters before a winner was declared. The hero of the game was Dylan Dugas Final score was 6-5. Both Bobby Cloutier of the Titans and Cory Richardson of the Lynx were stellar in the game and shootout. Total shots were 48-40 Titans. The teams were tied at one goal each following the first period and 3-2 Titans after 40 minutes. A Lynx goal with a little less than 6 minutes to play sent the teams to an extra 5 minute overtime period. Nothing was solved so it would be by a shootout that the game winner would be determined. The trio of Maheu(3g), Turcotte(2g-2a) and Ethier(2a) led the way with a 9 point effort.
The Titans hit the road on Wednesday and Thursday as they play back to back nights against the Bradford Bulls and New Tecumseth Civics.
