Read MoreThe Titans were at home on Friday evening to face the Grey County Grizzlies (0-14) for the first encounter of the season between these two teams. Charlie Iserhoff opened the scoring early in the first but shortly after the Grizzlies tied the game at one goal apiece. But that was it for Grey County scoring as the Titans scored 15 unanswered goals to hand the Grizzlies a 16-1 basting. Leading 5-1 and 11-1 after the first and second periods, the Titans kept the pedal to the metal… and added five more in the final 20 minutes. Charlie Iserhoff led to goal parade with the hat trick and one assists while Michael Chuinard also had a hat trick and 2 assists. Other Titans with multiple points were Gustav Rollfelt 2 goals & 3 assists, Jakob Wilhelmsson 2 goals & 3 assists, Nicolas Jasmin 2 goals & 2 assists, Oskar Risinger 1 goal & 1 assist, Damian Witkowski 1 goal & 1 assist. Ryder Murray had 6 assists. Other goals by Hugo Noller and Erik Liukko. Anthony Bedard and Sakari Starkkila each had 2 assists. Jacob Goldverg faced 25 shots for his first win in goal. Titans had 56 shots at the three Grizzlies goaltenders. 3 stars were Chuinard, Jasmin and Iserhoff. Before the start of the game, Hugo Noller was presented with the Temkin Campers award for October. This award is given to the player who contributes the most on and off the ice. The Titans will travel to Bracebridge on Saturday to take on the Blues. Then a day off on Sunday and back on the road Monday to pay a return visit to the Grey County Grizzlies.
