Murray nets S.O. winner over Islanders

The Titans got the win Friday night at the Centre over the second place Islanders (9-1) and they had to do it in a dramatic fashion. A Ryder Murray goal in the shoot out was the winner. Raffaele Izzo stopped all three Parry Sound shooters to get the win. Izzo was the games first star facing 52 shots and making several key saves throughout the game. Jakob Willhelmsson, Larri Vartiainen, Adrien Guenette and Guillaume Taupier got the goals in regulation. And to top off the evening Ryder Murray collected 1 assists to give him 213, which now puts him as the GMHL’s ALL TIME assists leader. Guiilaume Taupier was the second star. Not much time for the Titans to enjoy their big win as at 2pm Saturday the task gets harder as they face the first place unbeaten New Tecumseth Civics with their 11-0 record
