Titans drop 6-2 decision to Rattlers, down 2-0 in series
In one of the best games played at the Center this season, Titans lost 6-2 to the Rattlers.
The score is absolutely not representative of the tight and fast pace game that these two teams played tonight. The score was still 3-2 with less than 5 minutes to play. One of the Rattlers’ final goals being scored into an empty net.
Émile Lavallée scored the 2 goals for the Blue, Nathan Hardy getting 2 assists.
Benoît Aucoin was spectacular in his net making several saves which kept his team in the game. Goaltender Ivanov faced a barrage of 48 shots from the Titans. 34 shots for the Rattlers.
Titans now trail 0-2 in this Best of 5 series. The next game will be played Sunday evening in Bradford.
One of the best crowds of the season for sure.
Thank you to the communities of Kebaowek First Nation and Wolf Lake for supporting your Junior team that way.
