Titans double up on Lynx, 8-4

The Titans and Lynx were going at it in round 2 of their home and home series Saturday night in Sturgeon Falls. The Titans took about 21 minutes before they realized that they were in game as they trailed the Lynx 3-1 after the first period. They got two goals in the middle period to tie the score at three. In the final period four Titans in goals in the first 12 minutes blew the game wide open. Titans got goals from Adrien Guenette (2), Zacharie Maheu (1) + 2 assists. Getting a goal and assist each were Marc-Antoine Arseneau, Ludovic Scott, Scott Sovinsky & Jakob Wilhelmsson. Scott’s goal was his first of the season. Zacharie Lefebvre closed out the scoring with a single goal. Nicolas Proulx, Hampus Fagrell and Larri Vartiainen each had a pair of assists. Titans were outshot 43-39, Raffaele Izzo was the winner. The Titans get a short nights rest as they leave early in the morning for a 2pm game in Seguin against the Huskies.
