The puck stops here!

The Titans got some really great news on Tuesday as goaltender Raffaele Izzo has committed to return for another year with the Titans. The ’97 born Montreal native played 1,107 minutes in 20 games and had a record of 12 wins, 7 losses with 3.74GAA and a save % of .908. Izzo describes himself as an aggressive goaltender that challenges the shooter at all times. I’m a stay home goaltender and like to get involved in the game. Izzo is also a goalie that doesn’t show his emotions on the ice. Head coach William Bendi commented “I must admit that I have not seen Raffy play but if the Titans owners want him back it’s for a good reason. I believe they have much confidence in his ability as being a number 1 goaltender with the Titans. Titans GM Nicolas Tourigny added “last year Raffaele proved to us last season that he’s a quality goaltender who can give the team many minutes between the pipes. He works hard on improving himself all season whether in practice or during games”. He trained all summer long with some of the Montreal Canadians including Max Pacioretty. Raffy admits he worked hard all during the off season hitting the gym, the ice and playing high level soccer in Montreal this summer. We look forward in seeing #29 back in the blue ice.

Welcome back Izzooooooooo !
