Penalties cost the Titans in Sturgeon Falls

Your Titans played a dominant first period (16-9 in shots on goal) but scuttled their chances by taking too many penalties afterwards, including 2 consecutive 5-minute penalties in the 2nd period which opened the door to the Lynx who couldn’t ask for more to win 6-1 this tonight in Sturgeon Falls.
4 of the 6 Lynx goals were scored on the power play.
Alexander Barakhtin scored early in the 2nd to tie the game at 1-1 before we took a bunch of penalties.
Titans will play their next game Sunday in Bradford
