The Titans tied up the best of 5 series tonight with a huge win in Bradford over the Rattlers 5-4. The Titans jumped to early lead at 1:01 of the first on a Zacharie Maheu goal and kept that lead until the end of the first. And again in the second at the: 48 second mark, Marc-Antoine Arseneau put the Titans ahead 2-0. But in the next 8 minutes the Rattlers replied with 2 power play goals of their own to tie the game. Before the end of the second, Larri Vartiainen gave the Titans a 3-2 lead. The Rattlers tied the score on 2 more power play goals in the first 8 minutes of the final period to lead 4-3. But the Titans didn’t give up with another power play goal by Arseneau to tie the score at four. When it looked like a possible overtime period looming, Ryder Murray scored the game winner with less than 3 minutes. The Rattlers finished off the game on a power play that was already four for four. They pulled their goalie for a 6 on 4 power play for the last 90 seconds. Veli Makinen faced 39 shots for the win and again played a solid game making several game savers. The Titans are staying over in the Bradford area overnight to be ready for the pivotal third game Monday afternoon at 4:30pm. The win tonight now sets up game four in Temiscaming on Thursday night at 8pm.
