Titans add experience on blue line
It may be Saturday, but the Temiscaming Titans are still busy adding new pieces to their lineup for the upcoming season. The Titans are thrilled to announce the signing of D-man Nicolas Proulx from Sturgeon Falls, Ont. Nicolas brings two years of junior experience to the team playing for Sturgeon Falls Lumberjacks and most recently the Powassan Voodoos of the NOJHL. “The ’96 born D-man is very versatile with a lot of offensive talent. He can play both ends of the rink at a high level. He brings experience and leadership to our club.” says Associate Head Coach Chris Levesque. Titans GM Nicolas Tourigny adds that ” Nicolas will most certainly be an integral part of the Titans power play this season”. The 6’2″ & 175 lbs defenseman played 24 games for the GMHL’s Lumberjacks in 2013/14 and had 9 goals and 14 assists. Followed that with a stint with the Voodoos where he picked up 2 goals and 31 assists 44 regular season and playoff games.
