Morger shuts out Storm

It was Teddy bear toss night at the Centre on Friday December 18th and luckily the fans only had to throw their teddy bears once as the Titans scored 13 goals on route to a shut out win over the visiting Bobcaygeon Storm.  Andreas Morger earned his first GMHL shut out stopping 12 shots. The Titans led 2-0 after the first and upped it to 7-0 after 40 minutes.  Six more goals were added in the third period as the Titans totally dominated the entire game blasting 71 shots at the Storm netminders. Ryder Murray led the way with 3 goals and 4 assists, Hugo Noller also added a hat trick. Scott Marshall chipped in with one goal and five helpers while Guillaume Taupier had 1 goal and 4 assists.  Charlie Iserhoff had a pair of goals.  Jakob Willhelmsson had a goal and 2 helpers, Nicolas Jasmin 1 goal & 1 assist and rounding out the scoring was Kurtis Klinger.  Two penalty shots were awarded only 15 seconds apart, one to each team.  Andreas Morger made a save while Anthony Bedard, making his return after a lenghtly injury was stopped by the Storm netminder.  3 stars were Ryder Murray, Guillaume Taupier and Andreas Morger.  Santa Claus was on hand for the opening faceoff.  Over 150 teddy bears were collected and donated to the local Lions club to be distributed with their Christmas food baskets.

The Titans won’t have to wait long to play their final game of 2015 as the play host the Seguin Huskies Saturday Dec 19 at 2pm.
