Islanders sink Titans, 7-2

For 40 minutes the fans at the Centre were treated to a close 2-1 game for the visitors. Early in the final period, the Islanders made it 3-1. A power play goal by Gustav Rollfelt made it 3-2, but that’s as close as the Titans would get as Parry Sound replied with four unanswered goals to get the 7-2 win. Guillaume Taupier scored the other Titans goal in the opening period. Shots on goal were 31-23 Parry Sound. Peter Bastuga took the loss. The Titans are now 3-3 for the season and their next game will be Wednesday October 5th when they travel to Orangeville to play the Ice Crushers. Ryder Murray collected 2 assists on his 21st birthday.  Ryder was the game’s third star.
