Comeback victory over the Lynx

The Titans were at home Friday evening for their 4th encounter of the season against the West Nipissing Lynx. In the last 3 meetings the Titans outscored the Lynx 27 to 5. So perhaps the Titans were expecting a walk in the park. But the Lynx had different ideas as the visitors held a 4-2 lead after 20 minutes. Joakim Braneby and Alex Provost-Ross had the Titans goals. The Titans scored the lone goal of the middle period on a nice 3 way passing play to bring the Titans within one. Two more Titans goals in the third period finished the comeback as Rylan Freed and Guillaume Taupier with the eventual winner gave the victory to the home team. Raffaele Izzo faced 28 shots for the win. The Titans directed 51 shots at the Lynx netminder. The 3 stars were Julien Vogt, Samuel Vigneux (WN) and Michael White. The 2 teams will be back at it in Sturgeon Falls on Saturday night, game time is 7:30.
